The Writer of the Play

In the play,

I identify with a small part, which

I act out in the theatre of the world.

Looking from this small perception,

Coherence seems impossible,

In the constant change of opposites.

Upon seeing that I am the writer,

The actors and circumstances are just

The unfolding of a story, which

Outcome does not change the writer.

The writer is the cause, means and end of the play.

The writer plays many roles,

Yet,

Always aware of

The underlying, changeless identity.

When all identification with the play stops,

There is an awareness that

Actor, acting and the act are just

Projections from the writer’s mind.

The true identity of the writer is

Reality Itself.
