If Only for an Instant

If only for an instant,

One could Love totally,

Without the fear of losing the sense of self,

Without the burden of attachment,

Without the desire to belong,

Without the want for security,

Without the need for continuity,

Without cause.

If only for an instant,

One could Love totally,

Wholeness would show itself,

Freedom would soar.

The mind would discover its potentiality.

The need for security and continuity would disappear.

One would recognise,

In the vastness of the mind,

A boundless,

Uncaused,

Love.

One would remember Oneself in that one instant,

And smile everlastingly.
